RE: 08 Sequoia Owners - Pros & Cons?

our friends have one. they love it. they do not have a TT but they have three kids so the extra room works out well. They had the last generation and that worked well for them. When they found out the new generation has the same look as the Tundra as well as many of the same parts, etc....they were hooked.. I have driven it one or twice and was able to convince them if i could hook up my tt to their new suv....it handled our tt fine. If I did not need a truck bed...I would consider one.

RE: Suburban/Tahoe toast?

I cannot see them being dropped. The CUV like the Arcadia, etc are very nice for what they are...but their is a segment for the Tahoe and Suburban...as soon as the Hybrid or alternative fuel is further developed they will come back a bit....

RE: Porta-Bote

I have a 14' bote that I power with a 9.9 Johnson outboard. This set-up works very well. Bote is very durable and buoyant. I carry the bote beneath my TT using ratchet straps. The bote allows me to leave the shore and enjoy the water. It adds a whole other dimension to camping trips Hey, we just I just bought one with my dad...he has a Artic Fox and will be using it when him and mom go out with the TC. We will using it with our family with our TT. How or better yet where did you strap that underneath your TT....????

RE: Popular Mechanics: 2009 half-ton comparo & 2009 F-150 Report

I look at it this way...they are all good trucks, it either comes down to personal preference, price or availability. Ours is 2 years old in February....no complaints. By the time I move on to another truck.... Kia will have a half ton Hyundai will have a 1 ton and IBM or Apple will have a compact pick up that has more gizmos and gadgets one will not care.

Recommend Campground - 3 day weekend for Thanksgiving

For the past two years we have camped at VA Beach with friends and family for Thanksgiving. This year we cannot arrive until Friday and still need to leave Sunday. Cannot see driving ten hours each way for one full day at the campground. Any ideas of campgrounds between VA and NY one would recommend. Note, the family in VA do not want to travel more than 3 hours..... I am willing to drive the seven to meet them....seven is a lot better than ten...(yes kids are involved)
